DISCRIMINATION - I am looking for people who
would be willing to talk to me about a current experience
whether first or second hand of disability
discrimination/bullying/abuse on or off the record. Please

conducting preliminary research so any assistance on
this issue would be appreciated.

FREE ROOM FOR A CARER AT A HOLIDAY
INN.
You don't need to register in order to take advantage of
this offer. You just need to ring the central booking line on
0845 124 9973 and say you want to book a room for a
disabled person and an interconnecting room for their
support worker (you sometimes have to say carer for
them to understand).

Also if the person has a disabled person railcard you
can get up to 35% off the cost of their room as well.

TELL THE NHS ABOUT YOUR EXPERIENCES
OF HEALTH CARE.
All too often we hear bad news stories (and occasionally
good!!) about disabled childrens experiences of NHS
services, now we have the opportunity of giving our views!

There is a national review looking at NHS services for
children and they want to hear the views of children and
young people and parents and carers. This is a review of
services for all children it is essential that the views of
families with a disabled child are heard as the issues will
probably be different to those of other families.

A scheme that aims to provide services, support,
employment, respite & training opportunities to carers.

Wed’ 3rd February 1.30-4 (Northampton)
Wed’ 10th February 9.30-12 (Daventry)
